While you’re being welcomed and getting familiar with the Ora’s environment, you can easily notice how the entire workspace will be just like your own online office. The feeling’s good if you try to get your team a lot more productive and connected.
Ease of use and functionality
Ora, as a project management tool seems to achieve its goal by offering the various requirements for a startup team or even just for an individual user, requirements like their own communication channel, ability to attach files to tasks and nicely previewing them as far as your device’s screen allows you to.
The ease with which I’m creating new projects and assigning people to various lists or tasks and drag & dropping them, is just purely amazing. Changing status of the task, communicating through comments (Ora’s preparing a much more dedicated chat feature for the future) also help a lot while trying to achieve that productive team workflow delivered by Ora.
Members, activity and progress measured
Tracking is important for a team. We’re talking about deadlines that need to be met and Ora understands that time needs to be managed properly and this is a very useful feature of Ora’s entire online office workflow it created.
Reports for projects, tasks and members
If the entire activity of a team is properly documented, then statistics are available too. In Ora, you can check how much time has been spent upon a project’s tasks or measure a member’s contribution time through its awesome reporting interface.
I’ve been a bit disappointed in the lack of enough platforms like the smartphone and desktop apps. Still, taking into consideration that Ora still runs in its beta phase which means it’s still a work in progress, the overall features of Ora as a project and team management web application compensate for the unavailable apps.
The mobile experience is similar to the desktop one in which you get to be practical in very small steps. Ora is one of the most advanced and friendlier project management applications (currently available only as a web application) that I ever came across with. It’s just a delight scheduling my daily routine, collaborating with other people on various projects and get to be updated of every step taken.
